Dietrich Leis Photography is family owned and operated since 1975. Our stock collection is the work of Dick Dietrich and Dianne Dietrich Leis. This father/daughter team traveled throughout the United States and Canada for over 20 years capturing the true essence of America’s scenic beauty on film. Their work has been showcased in Arizona Highways Magazine, National Geographic and Sierra Club books, and numerous other national publications.

Dick Dietrich, a native of Bridgton, Maine, moved to Arizona shortly after WWII. His photographs of the Grand Canyon have been made famous as book covers, calendars and most recently in a permanent exhibition welcoming visitors to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Renown for their excellent quality, his images were created using an 8x10 Sinar view camera. Honored as photographer of the year by Arizona Highways, he was one of the last contributors to use the large 8x10 film.

Dianne Dietrich Leis began her career in 1977 running the family photography business. Her work has appeared in calendars, books, posters, and magazines. Recently her work appeared in the Sierra Club Book "Mother Earth" showcasing the work of America's most influential women photographers. Dianne joined by her husband, Jose Leis, add thousands of new images to the Dietrich Stock Library every year, now in digital format. The original collection of high quality American landscapes has been expanded to include Europe, nature close-ups, gardens, and many world travel destinations.
